What's better than a car selfie?!
Hello! WELCOME! Thank you so much for stopping by! I am seriously SO happy to have you.

I am not sure what brought you here to my corner of the interwebs, but I hope you find a little something enjoyable, encouraging, humorous or a combo of everything! As you will notice, I am not one of those "good" bloggers anymore. That was so 2014. Today, I mostly pop in and out. This place is acred and safe for more to just... get my thoughts, feelings, prayers, all the things, out of my head and onto [virtual] paper. All from the perspective of me: a 30-something Catholic gal, nurse, lover of the color orange, blue skies and Jesus. Oh, and coffee. That's the way to my heart.

My nursing career has actually taken me all over the place! I moved back to the DC area in 2015 to work at the hospital where I started out! What did I do before that? Well, I lived in Honduras for a bit. Then, I moved to Florida, where I spent time with my favorite little family, and had an overall great time. Florida was an incredibly transformative time in my life- from therapy, to building a community (both online and IRL) and making lasting friendships. It's all here on this blog. I am an open book, it seems. And for right now... I am totally ok with that.

A large chunk of my writings are about the single life through the Not Alone Series.

I would love to know about you! Please leave a comment, or shoot me an email! That way, I don't feel like I am jumping in puddles all by myself! ;)

Abrazos,
Jen

  5. Hi Jen! I've read your blog off and on (found it through the NAS), but never commented. I just wanted to say hello and ask for some prayers. I graduated nursing school a month ago and I'm getting ready to take the NCLEX soon. I'm pretty terrified of it and if you could say some prayers for me I would really appreciate it. I look forward to reading more of your blog too!
